Who is this “Pastor Bob” anyways? Bob is a down-to-earth type of guy that has spent a career working in manufacturing, trying to better understand the customer in order to provide them with exactly what they want…a good quality product at a fair price. That’s what he tries to accommodate in his leatherwork business as well. Bob works for a living like others…he wants to provide a great customer experience, even beyond the sale.
Pastor Bob started dabbling in leather after he received a gift card to a local leather shop from his kids. And that was the beginning of his passion for leatherwork. He has since expanded his leather shop.
Some of his products are displayed for sale in local shops, but most of his sales are through “word of mouth” from other satisfied clients or like you…online sales.
Why does he have the title, “Pastor” in his name, you ask? He is an ordained Pastor and takes his relationship with Jesus Christ serious and wants to share the Gospel, or Good News about Jesus as often as he can. He was ordained in Georgia as a Calvary Chapel Pastor in 2014.
Although he is now in Southwest Missouri, he still serves the Risen Savior through the local church as well as men’s Bible studies. He never shies away from the opportunity to mentor men of all ages who are struggling with addiction.
Believe it or not, all leather is not created equal. When it comes to vegetable tanned leather, one of the best is that tanned by the Hermann Oak Tannery in St. Louis, Missouri. All vegetable tanned leather used in his shop comes from that tannery. Period. There is no imported, cheaper grade leather in his shop. You as the client deserve better than that.
