Important Use Note
Use only with an arbor press or vise applying slow, even pressure. Do not strike with a hammer.
Arbor Press Instructions
- Place evenly cased (moistened) leather on a stable platform beneath the anvil.
- Position the stamp on the leather and place a plate or block above it.
- Apply steady pressure for 15–20 seconds. Check and repeat for deeper impressions.
Vise Instructions
- Sandwich the cased leather and stamp between two flat boards or plates.
- Secure in a vise and tighten firmly for 15–20 seconds.
- Release, inspect the impression, and repeat as desired.
Best Results: Casing Leather
Evenly moisten the entire leather surface using a sponge before pressing. Proper casing prevents water spots and ensures uniform impressions. Use a scrap of leather or pressing pad on top for even pressure distribution.
Cleaning & Care
After each use, rinse or gently scrub the engraved face, then dry thoroughly. Avoid impact tools to preserve engraving detail and extend the life of your stamp.
Lifetime Guarantee
If normal press use no longer produces a clean impression, return it for a replacement. Use with a hammer voids the guarantee.
