Special Note on Use
Use only with an arbor press or vise with slow, even pressure. These stamps will not withstand hammer blows.
Arbor Press Instructions
- Place evenly cased leather on a solid platform beneath the anvil.
- Set the stamp on the leather, then place a plate or wood block on top.
- Apply steady downward pressure for 15–20 seconds; check and repeat if needed.
Vise Instructions
- Sandwich cased leather and stamp between two flat boards or plates.
- Secure the stack and place in a vise; tighten firmly for 15–20 seconds.
- Release and inspect the impression; repeat for more depth if desired.
Best Results: Casing Leather
Moisten the entire leather surface evenly with a sponge to avoid water spots. A scrap of leather or pad placed above the stamp helps distribute pressure evenly.
Cleaning & Care
Rinse or scrub the engraved face after use and dry thoroughly before storage. Avoid striking tools to preserve engraving detail.
Lifetime Guarantee
Each stamp includes a lifetime guarantee for normal press use. If it stops producing an acceptable image, return it for a replacement. Guarantee void if used with a hammer.
