Important Use Note
Use only with an arbor press or a vise applying slow, even pressure. This stamp is not designed for hammer strikes.
Arbor Press Instructions
- Place cased leather on a solid, level surface under the press anvil.
- Set the stamp on the leather and position a flat block above it.
- Apply steady downward pressure for 15–20 seconds.
- Check the impression and repeat if deeper detail is desired.
Vise Instructions
- Place the stamp and cased leather between two flat boards.
- Tighten firmly in a vise for 15–20 seconds.
- Inspect the imprint and press again if needed.
Best Results: Casing Leather
Wet the entire leather surface with a damp sponge. Even moisture makes the engraved lines press cleanly and prevents spotting. A pressing pad or scrap leather on top of the stamp helps distribute pressure.
Cleaning & Care
Rinse or lightly scrub the engraved face after use. Avoid striking tools to preserve the fine USAF detail.
Lifetime Guarantee
If the stamp stops producing a clear impression under normal press use, you may return it for a replacement. Hammer use voids the guarantee.
