Important Use Note
Use this stamp only with an arbor press or a vise. Apply slow, even pressure. Do not strike the stamp with a hammer.
Arbor Press Instructions
- Evenly case the leather with a damp sponge.
- Place the leather on a solid surface beneath the press anvil.
- Set the stamp on the leather and place a flat block or plate on top.
- Apply steady pressure for 15–20 seconds.
- Check the impression and repeat if a deeper mark is needed.
Vise Instructions
- Sandwich the cased leather and stamp between two flat boards.
- Clamp firmly in a vise for 15–20 seconds.
- Release and inspect the imprint, then repeat as needed.
Best Results: Casing Leather
Moisten the entire leather surface evenly. Uneven wetting can cause water spots or shallow impressions. A pressing pad or scrap on top of the stamp helps spread pressure for a cleaner result.
Cleaning & Care
Rinse or gently scrub the engraved face after use and dry it fully before storing. Avoid impact tools to protect the fine engraving.
Lifetime Guarantee
If normal press use ever stops producing a clean impression, you may return the stamp for a replacement. Hammer strikes void the guarantee.
