Important Use Note
This acrylic stamp must be used with an arbor press or a vise using slow, even pressure. Do not strike it with a hammer or mallet. Impact force will crack the acrylic and void the lifetime guarantee.
Arbor Press Instructions
- Place evenly cased leather on a firm, flat platform under the press anvil.
- Position the stamp on the leather and place a flat board or plate on top.
- Apply steady downward pressure for 15–20 seconds.
- Check the impression and repeat for deeper detail if needed.
Vise Instructions
- Sandwich the stamp and cased leather between two flat boards.
- Tighten firmly in a vise for 15–20 seconds.
- Remove, inspect, and re-press if you want more depth.
Best Results: Casing Leather
For the cleanest impressions, dampen the entire piece of leather evenly with a sponge before stamping. Uneven wetting can cause light spots or patchy detail. Adding a pressing pad or scrap leather on top helps distribute pressure for a sharper, more uniform stamp.
Cleaning & Care
After use, rinse or gently scrub the engraved face to remove leather fibers. Dry completely before storage. Avoid any striking tools to protect the fine line detail of the U.S. Army emblem.
Lifetime Guarantee
If the stamp stops producing a clean impression under normal press use, you may return it for a replacement. Hammer use voids the guarantee.
