Important Use Note
Use this stamp only with an arbor press or a vise using slow, even pressure. It is not designed for hammer strikes.
Arbor Press Instructions
- Evenly case the leather with a damp sponge.
- Place the leather on a solid surface under the press anvil.
- Set the stamp on the leather and place a flat block or plate on top.
- Apply steady pressure for 15–20 seconds.
- Check the impression and press again if you want more depth.
Vise Instructions
- Sandwich the cased leather and stamp between two flat boards.
- Clamp them firmly in a vise for 15–20 seconds.
- Release and inspect the imprint, then repeat as needed.
Best Results: Casing Leather
Moisten the entire piece of leather evenly before pressing. Even casing helps prevent water spots and gives the star a clean, uniform outline. A pressing pad or scrap on top of the stamp can help spread pressure for a sharper image.
Cleaning & Care
Rinse or gently scrub the engraved face after each use and dry it well. Avoid hammers or other impact tools to protect the fine details and extend the life of the stamp.
Lifetime Guarantee
If normal press use no longer produces a clear image, you may return the stamp for a replacement. Any use with a hammer voids the guarantee.
