Important Use Instructions
This stamp is designed for use with an arbor press or a vise using slow, even pressure. It is not designed to withstand hammer strikes.
Arbor Press Method
- Case the leather evenly using a damp sponge
- Place the leather on a solid surface beneath the press
- Position the stamp on the leather
- Place a flat block or plate on top of the stamp
- Apply steady pressure for 15–20 seconds
- Check the impression and repeat if needed
Vise Method
- Place the stamp and cased leather between two flat boards
- Secure the stack inside a vise
- Tighten slowly and hold pressure for 15–20 seconds
- Inspect the impression and repeat if necessary
Best Results
Even casing is critical. Moisten the entire leather surface before pressing to prevent water spots and ensure uniform depth. A scrap of leather placed on top of the stamp helps distribute pressure evenly and protect fine details.
Lifetime Guarantee
This stamp is backed by a lifetime guarantee. If it ever fails to produce an acceptable impression under normal press use, simply return it for a replacement. Use with a hammer voids the guarantee.
