Important Use Note
Use an arbor press or a vise with slow, even pressure. Do not strike this stamp with a hammer.
Arbor Press Instructions
- Place evenly cased leather on a sturdy platform beneath the anvil.
- Set the stamp on the leather and place a flat plate or block on top.
- Apply steady pressure for 15–20 seconds; check and repeat for more depth.
Vise Instructions
- Sandwich the cased leather and stamp between two flat boards or plates.
- Clamp the stack in a vise and tighten firmly for 15–20 seconds.
- Release, inspect the depth, and repeat as needed.
Best Results: Casing Leather
Moisten the entire piece with a sponge before pressing to prevent water spots and ensure an even bite. A thick scrap of leather or a pressing pad on top helps distribute pressure.
Cleaning & Care
Rinse or lightly scrub the engraved face after use and dry before storage. Avoid impact tools to protect fine detail.
Lifetime Guarantee
If normal press use ever fails to produce an acceptable image, return the stamp for a replacement. Using a hammer voids the guarantee.
