Important Use Note
This stamp is designed for use with an arbor press or a vise only. Apply slow, even pressure. Do not strike with a hammer. Hammer use will damage the stamp and void the lifetime guarantee.
Arbor Press Instructions
- Place evenly cased leather on a solid surface under the press anvil.
- Position the stamp on top of the leather.
- Place a flat block or plate (wood or metal) on top of the stamp.
- Apply steady downward pressure for 15–20 seconds.
- Check the impression and repeat if additional depth is desired.
Vise Instructions
- Place the cased leather and stamp between two flat boards.
- Secure everything inside a vise.
- Apply firm pressure for 15–20 seconds.
- Release, inspect the imprint, and repeat if necessary.
Best Results: Casing Leather
Moisten the entire piece of leather evenly using a damp sponge before stamping. Proper casing helps prevent water spots and ensures clean, uniform impressions. Using a scrap piece of leather or pressing pad on top of the stamp helps distribute pressure evenly.
Cleaning & Care
After use, gently rinse or scrub the engraved surface and dry completely before storage. Avoid impact tools to protect the engraved details and extend the life of the stamp.
Lifetime Guarantee
This stamp includes a lifetime guarantee. If it no longer produces a clean impression under normal press use, return it for a replacement. Hammer use voids the guarantee.
