Important Use Note
This stamp must only be used with an arbor press or a vise. Do not strike it with a hammer. Impact tools can crack the acrylic and will void the lifetime guarantee.
Arbor Press Instructions
- Place evenly cased leather on a solid platform under the press anvil.
- Set the stamp on the leather and place a flat board or plate on top.
- Apply firm, steady downward pressure for 15–20 seconds.
- Check the impression and press again if you want more depth.
Vise Instructions
- Sandwich the cased leather and stamp between two flat boards.
- Tighten them securely in a vise for 15–20 seconds.
- Release the vise, inspect the imprint, and repeat if needed.
Best Results: Casing Leather
Moisten the entire surface of the leather with a damp sponge before pressing. Even casing helps prevent water spots and lets the design press clean and deep. Using a pressing pad or scrap leather on top of the stamp can help spread pressure for smoother results.
Cleaning & Care
Rinse or gently scrub the engraved face after use to remove leather fibers or residue. Dry the stamp fully before storing. Avoid any hammer or impact use to protect the fine engraved detail.
Lifetime Guarantee
If normal press use ever stops producing a clean image, you may return the stamp for a replacement. Use with a hammer or other striking tool voids the guarantee.
