Masonic Square and Compass Leather Stamp (Acrylic)
The Masonic Square and Compass Leather Stamp is a precision laser-engraved acrylic tool designed to produce clean, bold, and consistent impressions on properly cased leather. Each stamp is locally made in Southwest Missouri and crafted with working leather shops in mind, balancing sharp detail, durability, and long-term reliability.
This classic Square and Compass design is one of the most recognized symbols in Freemasonry and is well suited for a wide range of Masonic leather projects. It works especially well for belts, hat patches, straps, journal covers, bags, holsters, and presentation pieces made for members, lodges, or commemorative gifts.

Important Use Note
This stamp is designed for use with an arbor press or a vise only. Apply slow, even pressure for best results. Do not strike with a hammer. Hammer use will damage the stamp and void the lifetime guarantee.
Arbor Press Instructions
- Place evenly cased leather on a solid surface under the press anvil.
- Set the stamp on top of the leather.
- Place a flat block or plate (wood or metal) on top of the stamp.
- Apply steady downward pressure for 15–20 seconds.
- Check the impression and repeat if more depth is desired.
Vise Instructions
- Place the cased leather and stamp between two flat boards.
- Secure the stack inside a vise.
- Apply firm pressure for 15–20 seconds.
- Release, inspect the imprint, and repeat if needed.
Best Results: Casing Leather
Evenly moisten the entire leather surface with a damp sponge before stamping. Proper casing prevents water spots and helps the Square and Compass lines press cleanly and evenly. Using a scrap of leather or pressing pad on top of the stamp helps distribute pressure across the design.
Cleaning & Care
After use, rinse or lightly scrub the engraved surface and dry completely before storage. Avoid impact tools to protect the fine engraved details and extend the life of the stamp.
Lifetime Guarantee
This stamp includes a lifetime guarantee. If it no longer produces a clean impression under normal press use, return it for a replacement. Hammer use voids the guarantee.
