Special Note on Use
Use an arbor press or a vise with slow, even pressure. Do not strike with a hammer.
Arbor Press Instructions
- Set evenly cased leather on a solid platform beneath the anvil.
- Place the stamp on the leather and a flat plate or block on top.
- Apply steady pressure for 15–20 seconds; check depth and repeat if needed.
Vise Instructions
- Sandwich the cased leather and stamp between two flat boards or plates.
- Secure the stack, place it in the vise, and tighten firmly for 15–20 seconds.
- Release, inspect the impression, and repeat for more depth.
Best Results: Casing Leather
Moisten the entire piece with a sponge to avoid water spots and ensure uniform depth. A thick scrap of leather on top of the stamp helps distribute pressure.
Cleaning & Care
Rinse or scrub the engraved surface after use and dry before storage. Avoid impact tools to preserve detail.
Lifetime Guarantee
If normal press use no longer produces an acceptable image, return the stamp for a replacement. Use with a hammer voids the guarantee.
