Important Use Note
Use this stamp only with an arbor press or a vise with slow, even pressure. Do not strike the acrylic with a hammer or mallet. Impact tools can crack the stamp and damage the engraved detail.
Arbor Press Instructions
- Place evenly cased leather on a solid platform under the press anvil.
- Set the stamp on the leather and place a flat board or plate on top.
- Apply firm, steady downward pressure for 15 to 20 seconds.
- Check the impression and press again if you want more depth.
Vise Instructions
- Sandwich the cased leather and stamp between two flat boards.
- Tighten securely in a vise for 15 to 20 seconds.
- Remove and inspect the imprint, then repeat as needed.
Best Results: Casing Leather
Moisten the leather evenly with a damp sponge before pressing. Even casing helps the Celtic knot lines stamp deep and clean. Wetting only part of the leather can cause light spots or uneven impressions. A pressing pad or scrap leather on top of the stamp helps spread pressure across the design.
Cleaning & Care
After stamping, rinse or gently scrub the engraved face to remove leather fibers and residue. Dry the stamp completely before storing. Avoid all impact tools to keep the fine knotwork detail sharp for long term use.
Lifetime Guarantee
If the stamp ever stops making a clean impression under normal press use, you may return it for a replacement. Using a hammer or other striking tool voids the guarantee.
