Important Use Note
This stamp must be used with an arbor press or vise. It will break if struck with a hammer or mallet. Slow, even pressure is required for best results.
Arbor Press Instructions
- Place evenly cased leather on a solid platform under the press anvil.
- Set the acrylic stamp on the leather and place a flat board or plate on top.
- Apply steady downward pressure for 15–20 seconds.
- Check the impression and repeat if you want more depth.
Vise Instructions
- Position the cased leather and stamp between two flat boards.
- Tighten securely in a vise for 15–20 seconds.
- Remove and inspect the imprint; repeat if needed.
Best Results: Casing Leather
Use a damp sponge to wet the leather evenly. Uneven moisture can cause water spots or shallow markings. A pressing pad or scrap leather on top helps distribute pressure for a sharper impression.
Cleaning & Care
Rinse or lightly scrub the engraved face after each use to remove fibers and residue. Let the stamp dry completely before storage. Never use a hammer, as this can damage the engraving detail.
Lifetime Guarantee
If the stamp ever stops producing a clean impression under normal press use, you may return it for a replacement. Hammer use voids the guarantee.
