Key Scripture: Romans 8:1
“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” — Romans 8:1

Eight weeks ago, we started this journey with a hard truth: there is no one righteous, not even one. We looked honestly at the human condition — the reality that all have sinned, that sin carries a wage, and that none of us can meet God’s standard on our own.
But the Roman Road was never meant to leave us there.
Today we arrive at the final stop, and it is one of the most breathtaking sentences in all of Scripture.
“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”
No condemnation. None. Not a little. Not a reduced sentence. Not condemnation held in reserve in case you mess up again. No condemnation — for those who are in Christ Jesus.
I want you to feel the weight of that word therefore. It is doing a lot of work. Paul has spent seven chapters of Romans building to this moment. He has laid out the problem of sin, the impossibility of self-righteousness, the gift of grace, the peace that comes through faith, the power of confession and belief. Everything he has written is the foundation that supports this one magnificent conclusion: therefore — because of all of that — no condemnation.
When a leather craftsman finishes a piece and hands it to the customer, that piece is done. It has been cut, tooled, stitched, dyed, and finished. You do not take it back to the bench to add more. It is complete. The work speaks for itself.
The work of Christ on the cross is complete. He said so Himself — “It is finished.” And because it is finished, the verdict for everyone who is in Christ Jesus is settled: no condemnation. The case has been closed. The debt has been paid. The record has been cleared.
For eight weeks we have walked the Roman Road together. We started with our need and we end with our freedom. We started with the diagnosis and we end with the cure fully applied. If you have placed your faith in Christ somewhere along this journey — whether years ago or just in recent weeks — this verse is your inheritance. No condemnation. That is who you are now.
And if you have been walking this road with us but have not yet made that step of faith — I want to invite you one more time. Call on His name. Confess and believe. Receive the gift that God has been offering you all along. The road leads here: no condemnation, eternal life, peace with God — freely given to everyone who comes to Christ.
That is the Roman Road. And it leads home.
Thank you for walking this series with us. If God moved in your heart over these eight weeks, I would genuinely love to hear from you. Reach out through the contact page, leave a comment below, or share this post with someone who needs to hear that there is no condemnation in Christ.
